Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rajeev Ranjan Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel for respondents no.1 to 4.
The grievance of the petitioner is that an amount of Rs.59,970/- due to the petitioner for arrears of salary sanctioned in November, 2020 has not been released till date.
Sri Rajeev Ranjan Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel, on instructions from the respondent no.2, submits that the amount of Rs.59,970/- shall be released to the petitioner within one week from today.
The writ petition is disposed of in the light of the statements made by Sri Rajeev Ranjan Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel. It is further provided that if the aforesaid amount is not released within the aforesaid period, the same shall carry interest of 10% from the date the amount becomes due till the date of payment.
