Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, to call for the records of the detention order dated 20.04.2017 passed in No.200/BCDFGISSSV2017 by the second respondent against petitioner's son Balaji @ Shanmugam, Son of Balasubramani, confined in Central Prison-II, Puzhal, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Court and thereafter set him at liberty.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked, by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.2799 dated 14.06.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked.
3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
4. In fine, this petition is dismissed.
