The petitioners are autorickshaw drivers who have been granted with contract carriage permits by the fourth respondent. According to them, their halting places are specified as Cherpulasseri or Cherpulasseri town. According to them there are 13 halting places in the Cherpulasseri town. The petitioners were ordinarily halting their autorickshaws at halting place No:4. They have been directed by the traffic and the local authority to shift to a newly created stand No:13. The petitioners objected to the said direction. They have submitted Ext.P4 representation setting out their grievances. The same is pending before the fourth respondent. 2. According to Shri.P.Jayaram who appears for the petitioners, the petitioners are entitled to the benefit of the dictum laid down in Rajesh v. Bharananganam Grama Panchayat [2013(1)KLT 426] . They therefore seek the issue of appropriate directions in the matter.
3. The Govt. Pleader appears for respondents 3 to 7. In the nature of the relief that I propose to grant I do not consider it necessary to issue notice to the other respondents.
4. Since Ext.P4 is pending consideration of the fourth respondent, it shall be sufficient that the said authority considers the grievances of the petitioners with notice to the Panchayat authorities also and works out a solution to the dispute.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the fourth respondent to consider Ext.P4 representation submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law with notice to the first respondent and to pass appropriate orders in the matter, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
