JUDGMENT / ORDER

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.108/2014 of the Kasaragod Excise Range, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(1) and (2) of the Abkari Act.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that on 22.09.2014 he was found in possession of 15 litres of arrack.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
5. The learned Public Prosecutor has pointed out that the petitioner was involved in 5 other crimes of similar nature. The prosecution records, prima facie reveal the complicity of the petitioner. Considering similar antecedents on the part of the petitioner and the large quantity of BA.7858/2014 : 2 :
contraband involved in this case, this Court is of the view that he is not entitled to be enlarged on bail.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
