The Tahsildhar Sholinganallur Taluk Kancheepuram District Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2017 and consequently direct the respondent to issue patta in respect of the vacant land comprised in Survey Nos.112 & 116 in Plot Nos.726 & 728, situated at Ram Nagar, 7th Main Road, Madipakkam, Chennai measuring an extent of 9600 sq.ft.

Advocate ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 28.02.2017 and consequently direct the respondent to issue patta in respect of the vacant land comprised in Survey Nos.112 & 116 in Plot Nos.726 & 728, situated at Ram Nagar, 7th Main Road, Madipakkam, Chennai, measuring an extent of 9600 sq.ft.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2017 to issue patta in respect of the land stated above, the respondent has not passed any orders so far.
3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders, in accordance with law.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
