THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE CHIEF JUSTICE MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Although there was a specific direction by this court by an order dated October 7, 2015, directing the authorities to consider the application of the writ petitioner dated April 15, 2014, for grant of quarry lease for extraction of ornamental stone, we regret to note that such consideration has not been made.
2. We pass a peremptory direction to the authorities to consider and dispose of the application of the writ petitioner within three weeks from today, and to report compliance.
3. The writ petition stands disposed of.
4. We make no order as to costs.
