ORDER:
Petitioners claim to be purchasers of land admeasuring Ac.6.16 cents in Sy.Nos.346, 347/1, 347/7 and 347/8 situated at Kokkirapalli village, Yalamanchali Mandal, Visakhapatnam District vide registered sale deed bearing No.3026 of 2008 dated 27.05.2008 from their vendors Sri Kolluru Venkata Ramana Murthy and seven others. Petitioners submit that as per the latest pahanies and adangals for the year 2013-14, the names of their vendors continue to appear in the revenue record and therefore, the petitioners sought mutation of their names and also issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds by making appropriate application on 11.01.2012 in Form 1-A under Rule 5(1)(b) of the Rules framed under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act. It is stated that their vendors were already issued pattadar pass books and title deeds and in view of the purchase by the petitioners, they are entitled to pattadar pass books as well as title deeds and mutation of their names in the revenue record.
2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader has received instructions, which confirm that the petitioners are purchasers of the aforesaid land.
3. However, the application of the petitioners for grant of pattadar pass books and title deeds, apparently, remain pending. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the aforesaid application of the petitioners in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders therein expeditiously, preferably, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
