Petitioners are the accused in C.C.No.1359/2008 pending before JFCM-II, Aluva. The offence alleged against them are punishable under Sec.498A r/w 34 of IPC. Second respondent is the de facto complainant. She is represented in this Court by her counsel. Affidavit has been filed by the second respondent/de facto complainant stating that the entire matter has been settled and she does not intend to proceed further in the matter.
In the light of the settlement so arrived at this Crl.M.C. is allowed. Further proceedings against these petitioners in C.C.No.1359/2008 pending before JFCM-II, Aluva is quashed.
