Hon'ble Ramesh Sinha,J. Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J.
Heard Sri Raj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2, learned Standing Counsel appearing for State respondent no.1 and perused the record.
The grievance of the petitioner is that there was mal-functioning in the old meter and, therefore, the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum is already directed for the change in the meter. The meter has come to be changed as is quite reflected from the report dated 14.6.2019 and old meter has been put to test. In the meanwhile, the petitioner has approached the authority concerned with an application dated 27.7.2019 to the effect that the corrected bill should be given rectifying the error of the earlier meter reading.
Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.2 submits that authorities have already looked into and enquiry has been conducted and very soon the final order will be passed positively within a period of 10 days from today.
In such view of the matter, writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no.2 shall pass appropriate order as per the undertaking given before this Court.
