The writ petition has been filed with the following reliefs:
"(I) Issue a order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2-Additional District and Session Judge, Court No.12, Ghaziabad to decide the Land Acquisition Reference No. 226 of 1994 (Badar Ali Vs. State of U.P. and others) within a very early date preferably within specific time.
(II) Issue any other order or direction of this Hon'ble Court in favour of the petitioner."
I have perused the paper book.
From the perusal of the paper book, it reflects that vide order dated 28.02.1992 the Land Acquisition Officer awarded compensation at the rate of Rs.42/- per square yard along with solatium, interest and other statutory benefits. Aggrieved by the awarded dated 28.02.1992, petitioner along with other land owners have preferred Land Acquisition Reference No. 226 of 1994 before the District Judge, Ghaziabad, which is pending consideration.
In view of the facts and circumstances stated above, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to Additional District and Sessions Judge,Court No. 12, Ghaziabad to decide the Land Acquisition Reference No. 226 of 1994 (Badar Ali Vs. State of U.P. and others), expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
