Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.K.Singh Chandel, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents.
Against the order passed by the Regional Manager (Appellate Authority) dated 11.1.2018 by which the appeal of the petitioner has been dismissed for cancellation of his agency and the seizure of the commission also, the petitioner has remedy of filing a Memorial under Regulation 24 of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Agents) Regulations, 2017.
Since the alternative statutory remedy being available to the petitioner, we are not inclined to interfere in the matter at this stage. In case, there is a delay in filing the appeal, the petitioner can file an application for condonation of delay under Section 5 of the Limitation Act.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
