JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have prayed for an appropriate writ, direction or order directing respondent No.1, Special Recovery Officer and Deputy Mamlatdar (Gratuity), Ahmedabad to recover the amount of gratuity from the respondent Nagarpalika, due and payable under the certificate issued by the controlling authority in favour of the petitioner employees.
2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, Ms. Monali Bhatt, learned Assistant Government Pleader has stated at the Bar, under the instruction from Kishore Christian, Special Recovery Officer and Deputy Mamlatdar (Gratuity), Ahmedabad that amount due and payable under the recovery certificate has been recovered by four different cheques and concerned workmen have been paid the same. She has produced on record the zerox copy of the cheques which is directed to be taken on record.
3. In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed except disposing of the present petition. Under the circumstances, as no cause survives, present petition is disposed of accordingly.
