Heard Sri Raghvendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent no. 1 and 2 as well as Sri Nipun Singh, learned counsel for respondent no. 3 and 4.
By means of this writ petition the petitioner is praying for writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 4 to provide the annual increment of salary from the year 2002 to him in compliance of order dated 24.01.2002, passed in Writ Petition No. 3664 of 2002.
Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset confines his prayer to direct the respondent no. 4 to decide his representation for grant of annual increment in the salary from the year 2002, in compliance of order dated 24.01.2002, passed in Writ Petition No. 3664 of 2002.
Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection in case such a direction is issued for consideration of petitioner's representation.
In the light of above, respondent no. 4 is directed to decide the representation dated 09.08.2017 of the petitioner within a period of two months' from the date of production of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
Liberty is granted to the petitioner to move a fresh representation before respondent no. 4, within a period of two weeks from today and the same shall be decided by the respondent no. 4 as directed above.
