Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State.
Against the impugned show cause notice issued under Section 3(3) of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 the petitioner has a right to submit his reply, whereupon the Competent Authority is to take an appropriate decision.
In view of the above, we are not inclined to interfere against the notice. We leave it open to the petitioner to submit a reply within a period of 2 weeks from today, whereupon the Competent Authority may take an appropriate decision after considering the reply, if any, filed by the petitioner.
The Writ Petition is disposed off accordingly.
