1. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for and is granted leave during the course of the day to implead S.H.O. Badalpur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, as respondent no.8 in the petition.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major. They got married on 21.03.2015 at Arya Samaj Mandir, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar. The petitioners also got their marriage registered under the U.P. Hindu Marriage Registration (Rules) 1973. The marriage certificate issued has been filed at page 26 of the petition.
4. Since the petitioners are married against their parents' wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. Hence this petition.
5. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., Police Station Badalpur, District Gautam Budh Nagar, who shall extend all necessary help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
