JUDGMENT / ORDER

The complaint of the petitioner is that, though the construction of his building was completed in December, 2013, the same has not been numbered by the second respondent so far. The counsel for the second respondent Sri. P. Pratheesh submits that it was because there was an order of stay granted by the first respondent in force that no number was allotted. The counsel for the petitioner places reliance on Exhibit P21 produced along with I.A. No. 16492 of 2014 to point out that, the order of stay has already been vacated and that the Government has directed the building to be numbered. It has also been directed in Exhibit P21 that an action taken report shall be submitted to the first respondent. Exhibit P21 is the dated 26.11.2014. The counsel for the second respondent submits that no copy of Exhibit P21 has been received by the second W.P.(C) No.29939 of 2014-N -:2:- respondent officially, till date.
2. Since as per Exhibit P21, the first respondent has already directed the building to be numbered, there is no impediment in numbering the building of the petitioner.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to number the building of the petitioner as directed in Exhibit P21 and to issue an Occupancy certificate to him within a period of two weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment Sd/- K.SURENDRA MOHAN, JUDGE kkj
