ORDER:
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in dispossessing the petitioners from House bearing D.No.2-358 comprised in Sy.No.147/1A of Punyakshetram, H/o Bhupalapatnam Gram Panchayat, Rajendranagaram Mandal, East Godavari District.
A counter affidavit is filed by the second respondent stating that they have no knowledge with regard to the ownership of the property nor the eviction of the petitioners from the said property. It is further stated that they have no concern with the widening of the road as the existing road belongs to the Gram Panchayat and they have nothing to do with the issue raised in the Writ Petition.
The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that so far no action has been taken by the respondents or the Gram Panchayat with regard to the eviction of the petitioners from the house property in question.
In view of the averments made by the second respondent in the counter affidavit and submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioners, no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition and the Writ Petition is liable to closed.
Accordingly the Writ Petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
