ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the inaction of respondent No.7 on representations, dated 05.11.2014 and 24.11.2014, as illegal and arbitrary.
The petitioner averred that he is a farmer having lands under Mupparru Irrigation Channel. He has alleged that he along with other similarly situated farmers of Mupparru and other surrounding villages has complained to respondent No.7 through the above mentioned two representations that flow of water through Mupparru Irrigation Channel has been obstructed due to unauthorized construction of pipe culvert over the said channel by respondent No.8. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the said two representations, respondent No.7 has not initiated any action.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation and Command Area Development (Andhra Pradesh) submits that respondent No.7 will take appropriate action on the petitioner’s representations expeditiously.
In the light of the above submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. Respondent No.7 is directed to hold an enquiry wherein he shall give notice to the petitioner as well as respondent No.8 and take action strictly as per law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
As a sequel to disposal of main petition, WPMP.No.50261 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
