Eswara Rao .S, Advocate for C/R-Absent) This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondent bank to consider the representation, dated 27.10.2017 and another representation dated 11.06.2019 and consider the case of the petitioner on Humanitarian Grounds under the one time settlement scheme (as Annexures-B and M).
This Writ Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri. Sreekantha K. S., learned counsel for the petitioner.
None for the respondent.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to the respondent-Bank to consider the representation dated 27.10.2017 and another representation dated 11.06.2019 and consider the case of the petitioner on humanitarian grounds under the One Time Settlement Scheme as per Annexures-B and M.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the representation for settlement of the loan account under the ‘One Time Settlement’ Scheme may be considered.
4. In view of the submission made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the representation under ‘One Time Settlement’ scheme submitted by the petitioner may be decided by the competent authority, by a speaking order if not already decided within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today.
5. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
