JUDGMENT / ORDER

HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.17150 OF 2014 Date: 22.07.2014 Between:-
B. Sri Ramulu, Hyderabad and others.
… Petitioners And Government of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Hyderabad and another.
... Respondents This Court made the following:-
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.17150 OF 2014 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
2. The grievance of the petitioners is limited to the inaction of the second respondent in conducting survey and demarcating the lands in Survey Nos.195 to 204, 206, 207, 209 to 211 and 879 situated at Patancheru Village and Mandal, Medak District, and fixing the boundaries with metes and bounds in respect of total land of Ac.32.00 and also in respect of allotted shares of Ac.8.00 each.
3. The petitioners state that their father along with his three brothers had inherited the above said Ac.32.00 of land. The petitioners along with other co-sharers partitioned the said land and Ac.8.00 was allotted to each branch and the respective branch is in possession of the allotted extent. In order to precisely demarcate the land falling to the share of the respective branch, the petitioners have applied for survey and demarcation by paying requisite fee through E-seva on 12.04.2014. However, the survey is not yet completed. Hence, this Writ Petition.
4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that a notice for conducting survey was already issued on 17.07.2014 fixing the date as 07.08.2014 and that the notice was served on the petitioner and all other adjacent cultivators together with V.R.O directing them to be present on the spot on the said date.
5. In view of the said instructions, since survey is proposed to be conducted on 07.08.2014, interest of justice will be met if the second respondent is directed to ensure that survey and demarcation work is completed expeditiously and a report of the survey along with survey sketch is communicated to the petitioners within four weeks from the date of conducting the survey.
6. Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
