JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to take the complaint filed by the petitioner under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has filed a Public Interest Petition before the National Green Tribunal, South zone, Chennai and obtained an order of interim injunction on 05.05.2016 from putting up any construction against the land owners of the property in S.Nos.366/11, 367/12, 368/13, 369/3, 398/1 and 399/1 at Kottabakkam Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu. Aggrieved over the same, the land owners viz., K.R.Siva, R.Vallimayil and K.R.Ramesh, instead of taking legal recourse, with the help of one V.Rajendran, Ex-Village Head of Nadukuppam Village Panchayat, have started to do all the illegal activities, against the petitioner herein. Hence, the petitioner approached the respondent police and requested to register a case. On the failure of the respondent police to receive the complaint, he sent a detailed complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Puducherry. Since no action was taken on the said complaint, he has filed a private complaint under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Vanur and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Vanur to dispose of the private complaint dated 23.02.2017 filed by the petitioner under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
