ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in collecting more electricity charges than the tariff stipulated by the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission in respect of the petitioner’s Service Connection Nos.3502 22233 to 3502 22235, on the ground that he failed to secure Occupancy Certificate, as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, it is not disputed by learned counsel for both the parties that the issue similar to that raised in this Writ Petition was decided by this Court by order, dated 24.11.2014 in Writ Petition No.35603 of 2014.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is also partly allowed in terms of the order, dated 24.11.2014, in W.P.No.35603 of 2014, with the direction that the observations and directions contained therein shall form part of this order.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.49451 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
