THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER The petitioner sought for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner for regularization of agricultural land bearing old Sy.No.112, New Sy.No.120 measuring 1 acre 18 guntas situated in Kesthur village, Athagur Hobli, Maddur taluk, Mandya District, as per Annexure-A.
2. Smt. Pramodhini Kishan, learned Addl.
Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the regularization Committee already considered and rejected the application filed by the petitioner on 27.04.2002 and therefore, the prayer sought in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.
Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy of filing an appeal, in accordance with law.
