[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU.J.,] The petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to appoint Child Welfare Police Officers and constitute Special Juvenile Police Units in all Cities and Districts in the State of Tamil Nadu under Section 107 of The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
2. Today, the learned learned Special Government Pleader has produced a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.14, Home (Pol.12) Department, dated 05.01.2017 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu constituting such Committee. Thus, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
