Order:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in proposing to conduct elections to the Anantapuram Club headed by the 2nd respondent on 26.01.2014 with the existing list of voters containing the names of non-residents, dead persons and double entries without rectifying the same is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and contrary to Rule-22 of the Rules framed by the 2nd respondent-club and consequently, direct respondent Nos.2 to 4 herein to rectify the voters list by duly considering the representations, dated: 16.01.2014 and 19.01.2014 and to conduct election with rectified voters list on any such other day as may be convenient to the respondents.”
Mr.K.Srinivas, learned Counsel for the petitioners, has circulated an undated letter to the Registry wherein he has informed that his clients have instructed him to withdraw the Writ Petition in view of filing of an OP before the competent civil Court.
Today, at the hearing, Mr.C.Prakash, learned Counsel representing Mr.K.Srinivas, learned Counsel for the petitioners, reiterated the request made in the aforesaid letter.
In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.1747 of 2014, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
