Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider her representation dated 13.04.2015 and issue patta to her for the lands measuring an extent of 5597 sq.feet of house site bearing Plot Nos.4, 5 and 6 comprised in Survey No.29/1, Sadayankuppam Village, Madhavaram Panchayat, purchased by her under Sale Deed dated 12.05.1987, on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thiruvottiyur.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation as early as on 13.04.2015 for the issuance of patta, however, the 1st respondent has not issued the same yet.
4. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
