The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to issue direction to the III Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.192/2013 within the time limit fixed by this Hon'ble Court instead of periodically adjourning the case to various dates between 2013 to 2017.
For petitioner : Mr.M.Ravi ORDER The revision petitioner has filed a petition in HMOP No.192 of 2013 for divorce. According to the revision petitioner, the above HMOP has been adjourned from time to time at the instance of the respondent. Further, the respondent is intentionally dragging on the matter since she is receiving maintenance. Since, already four years has lapsed, the revision petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition praying for direction to the court below for early disposal of the above HMOP.
2. By considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and the HMOP has been filed in the year 2013, this Court is inclined to direct the III Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the above HMOP as expeditiously as possible.
3. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
