THE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 10849 of 2008 ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) We are of the view that the grievance in this writ petition cannot relate to any public or member of the public at large, as the authorities of Sri Sri Kodandaramaswamy Temple are interested in this matter. We are told by the learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4 that the amount mentioned in the prayer portion has been lying with the Sub- Treasury Officer. So this amount should remain as it is till lawful authorities take decision on this issue. It would be open for the temple authorities or any other person to take appropriate legal action establishing their rights and claim and the writ petitioners cannot have any locus to ask for adjudication on this issue.
The writ petition is accordingly closed. Interim order, if any, shall stand vacated. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
