1. Heard Sri Ehtesham Afsar, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State-respondents.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner, despite repeated query, could not show any provision under which permission is required from Collector for repair of existing mosque.
3. If there is some such requirement under bye laws of Local Bodies within whose jurisdiction the mosque in question exists, for that purpose remedy lies before appropriate authority and no such mandamus, in absence of statutory provisions conferring right upon petition to claim such relief, can be granted.
4. Dismissed accordingly.
