Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the State respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner in the matter of his claim for issuance of a certificate of his being a dependant of a Freedom Fighter, needs to be examined by the first respondent at the first instance.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation ventilating all his grievances before the first respondent within two weeks from today, along with a certified copy of this order. On such representation being made the first respondent shall call for the records and shall pass a reasoned speaking order preferably within eight weeks.
