The instant application has been filed for a direction upon the Principal Judge Family Court Kanpur Nagar to decide Suit No. 808 of 2017 within a stipulated period.
From the order sheet of the case, it does not appear that the matter is at a ripe stage. Accordingly, at this stage, no useful purpose would be served in issuing any specific direction to the court concerned.
However, keeping in mind that the proceeding relates to one under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, this petition is disposed off by observing that the trial court, in absence of any legal impediment, shall endeavour to bring the proceeding to its logical conclusion keeping in mind the mandate of Section 21B of the Hindu Marriage Act.
