Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing of the impugned first information report dated 14.11.2017 which is registered as Case Crime no. 378 of 2017 under Section 363 I.P.C., P.S. Gagalhedi, District Saharanpur (Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition)"
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 04 of 2018 dated 03.01.2018, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
