The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to file a final report in Crime No.8 of 2014 registered under Section 498-A of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act pending investigation on the file of the third respondent within a stipulated period of time.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that investigation in Crime No.8 of 2014 has been completed and charge sheet has been filed in the year 2014 before the learned chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai, against the petitioner.
3. Recording the said submission made by the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
