Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Yashovardan Swaroop, learned counsel for the University. The petitioner is claiming admission in the LLB 5-year Course in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow on the basis of merit cum preference list published on 29.05.2010. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequently a list has been published, in which the petitioner has been allotted the college situated at Gandhinagar, Gujarat i.e. Gujarat National Law University. He further informs that pursuant to the first merit list, the petitioner has deposited fee of Rs. 25,000/-, which shows the intention to take admission in the Institution. He further informs the structure of fee is also high in State of Gujarat University. Considering the facts and circumstances, I hereby issue direction to the opposite parties to allow the petitioner to take admission in Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow on the basis of first merit list whereby he has been allowed the said college. Issue notice to opposite party nos. 1,2 & 5.
Mr. Yashovardan Swaroop has recieved notices on behalf of opposite party nos. 3 and 4. Two weeks time is allowed to the opposite parties to file counter affidavit. List thereafter.
