Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for is granted adjournment for today to enable him to complete his instructions. The petitioner seeks compassionate appointment claiming to be adopted son of the deceased employee on the basis of the adoption deed executed on 14.6.2011 for the adoption ceremony held on 22.2.2011.
Be that as it may, in view of the fact of that the petitioner had applied within the period of 5 years from the death of the deceased employee, a consideration is required to be made at the ends of respondent no.3.
Sri Adarsh Bhusan, learned Advocate, has appeared on behalf of respondent no.3, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
The present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3 namely the Executive Engineer, Vidut Vitran Khand-Ist, Power Corporation Ltd, Mau, to consider the application moved by the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment strictly in accordance with the Rules and within a period of 6 weeks from the date of submission of certified copy of this order and in fact the same to the petitioner immediately, thereafter.
In view of the above, the writ petition is Disposed of. Order Date :- 30.7.2019 Chandan
