Though the relief sought for in this writ petition is larger in nature questioning the validity of the order dated 16.09.2015 passed by the Co-operative Society /first respondent, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner restricted the relief by stating that he has given a representation on 02.11.2016 in respect of the settlement of the terminal benefits of the second respondent /Joint Registrar and it is suffice, if a direction is issued to dispose of the representation dated 16.09.2015 submitted by the writ petitioner with regard to the settlement of the terminal benefits.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents states that the representation is not in a prescribed format for the purpose of treating the application under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.
3. The learned counsel also stated that the same has to be filed in a prescribed format by paying the necessary fee as prescribed by the Government in this regard.
4. In this view of the matter, the writ petitioner is directed to submit an application under Section 153 of the Act in the prescribed format by paying necessary fees and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the revision so filed under Section 153 of the Act, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this direction the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
