A.Vijaya vs The Personal Assistant To ...

Madras High Court|06 October, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has unncessarily come to this Court, before the respondents announced the selection list for the post of Assistant Cook. Although the petitioner belongs to Adi Dravida community, when the third respondent-Project Officer, Integrated Child Development Services, Rishivandhiyam Union, Villupuram District called for applications for the post of Assistant Cook, after applying to the said post, she was called for an interview by the third respondent on 02.09.2017 and she appeared along with the original school certificates, ration card, Community certificate, Residence certificate and Income certificate. But till date, the third respondent has not officially announced the selection list. While so, it is not known how the petitioner has come to this Court on the premise that another candidate recommended by the local MLA is going to be shortlisted. Such a premise and presumption cannot be the ground to come to this Court seeking a writ of mandamus to consider her candidature. Therefore, the writ petition being premature is dismissed. No costs. 06.10.2017 Speaking/Non speaking order Index : yes/no raja/ss To
