Issue notices to the respondents who are not represented by the counsel.
Until further orders of the Court, the operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 23.2.2008, passed by Additional District Judge/Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Court No.10, Ghaziabad in M.A.C. No. 170 of 2004 shall remain stayed provided the appellant deposits 2/3 of the amount awarded by the impugned order within two months from today. The amount deposited here may be remitted to the court below for adjustment.
The claimant (award holder) would be entitled to lift 1/3 of the deposited amount without any security and remaining 2/3 amount will be kept in a fixed deposit in any nationalised Bank and will be renewed from time to time.
The claimant (award holder) will also be given interest of the fixed deposit monthly/ annually without any security.
