The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus commanding District Magistrate, Shahjahanpur (respondent-2) to decide Application dated 28.7.2017 for grant of Fire Arm Licence, expeditiously.
Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to District Magistrate, Shahjahanpur (respondent-2) to decide Application dated 28.7.2017 for grant of Fire Arm Licence , expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority, according to provisions as provided under Rule 13 of Arms Rules, 2016.
