JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 22.12.2016 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendgodu, in taking the petition in CMP.No.5890 of 2016 filed by the petitioner under Section 200 Cr.P.C and posting the matter for recording the sworn statement.
2.However, during the course of argument, learned counsel for the petitioner, restricted the relief sought for herein, to the extent of directing the learned Magistrate to pass appropriate orders in the petition under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., for which, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, has no serious objection.
3.In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchengode to dispose of the petition in CMP.No.5890 of 2016 filed by the petitioner under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
