Petitioner's father was employed in the respondent Bank, who died on 22.8.2015. It appears that an application for grant of compassionate appointment has been moved by the petitioner on 28.2.2017, which has remained pending and has not been decided, so far. Grievance of the petitioner is that the authority concerned cannot keep the matter pending for indefinitely long.
Sri Rakesh Tandon, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submits that an appropriate decision would be taken by the authority concerned upon petitioner's application for grant of compassionate appointment.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to examine petitioner's claim for grant of compassionate appointment and to pass an appropriate order in that regard, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
