Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.
By means of this application u/s 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the applicant has prayed for expeditious disposal of criminal trial of Criminal Case No.893 of 2017 (State Vs. Atul Gahlot) in Case Crime No.140 of 2008, under Section 379 I.P.C., Police Station Railway Road, District Meerut, pending before A.C.J.M., Court No.7, Meerut.
Learned Additional Government Advocate has no objection if any direction is issued for disposal of the said proceedings in time bound period.
Without entered into the merits of the case, it is hereby directed that the criminal proceedings of the aforesaid case shall be concluded by the court below expeditiously within a period of eight months from the date of production of certified copy of this order strictly in accordance with law after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties and looking to the Roster and the priority on the basis of the other expedited proceedings under the orders of this Court issued from time to time.
The application, accordingly, stands disposed of.
