Heard Sri Anubhav Chandra and Sri Praveen Kumar, learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner has preferred this petition against the show-cause notice dated 23.10.2018 issued under Section 227 read with Section 279 (1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and show cause notice dated 23.10.2018 issued under Section 276 C/1 read with Section 279 (1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The petitioner has already filed reply to the said show cause notices and the matter is pending consideration before the appropriate authority.
In view of the fact that the aforesaid show cause notices are not without jurisdiction and that the petitioner has already filed reply to them, he should wait for the decision thereof instead of rushing to the Court by means of this petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the authority concerned to pass appropriate order on consideration of the reply of the petitioner in accordance with law most expeditiously.
