Heard Sri Vishnu Gupta, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Sri Ram Ashish Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A.K. Saxena, learned counsel for the respondent- U.P.S.R.T.C.
At the outset, it is submitted by learned Senior Advocate that only prayer made in the present writ petition is that the petitioner has filed a revision before the Chairman, U.P.S.R.T.C., Lucknow to challenge the Appellate order dated 24.07.2019. The said revision is pending since 19.08.2019. It is contended that the petitioner is about to retire and in case of delay in disposal of his revision, it would be rendered infructuous.
Be that as it may, in view of the innocuous prayer of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the case, the writ petition is being disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 i.e. Chairman, U.P.S.R.T.C., Lucknow, to decide the pending revision dated 19.08.2019, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
