The petitioners are Petty Contract Workers who had been working in the Kerala State Electricity Board (hereinafter referred to as 'the Board' for short) for more than three decades. The petitioners have been directed to be absorbed into regular service by an award of the Industrial Tribunal I.D.No.27/2002 dated 15.12.2004. The petitioners have submitted Exts.P7 to P16 representations before the 3rd respondent seeking absorption into regular service. They seek the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of their representations. Adv.Sri.K.S.Anil appears for the Board.
In view of the limited relief sought, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider Exts.P7 to P16 representations submitted by the petitioners and to pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioners also.
