By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed the following prayers:
i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2, District Magistrate, Siddharth Nagar to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 28.1.2020 (Annexure No.5 to the writ petition) within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
ii. Issue any other order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State, prayer prayed for by the petitioner is not such which cannot be granted. Hence, we deem it proper to grant prayer no.i.
The District Magistrate, Siddharth Nagar, shall decide the representation of the petitioner dated 28.1.2020 as expeditiously as possible, not later than 31.10.2021 With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
