After hearing the learned advocate for the petitioner and after going through the materials on record, we find that the petitioner has made out a strong prima facie case to have an interim order staying reassessment proceedings for the year 2003-04 by the respondent and restraining them from initiating any further steps with regard to reassessment for the year 2003-04, which is prima facie time barred. We accordingly pass such order for a period of fortnight from today, with liberty to the petitioner to apply for extension on the selfsame application after service of notice upon the respondents.
Direct Service is permitted.
