This petition has been filed with the prayer for quashing of FIR relating to Case Crime No. 17 of 2012, under Sections 498A/323/420/468 IPC and 3/4 D.P.Act, P.S.Indira Nagar, district Lucknow.
Since it is a matrimonial dispute between the parties, as such an argument was raised by learned counsel for the petitioners that if a chance is taken by sending the matter to the Mediation Centre of this Court, there is every possibility that the parties may settle the dispute amicably. This Court had issued notices to Smt. Mridnalini Verma through Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lucknow for appearance before this Court to apprise as to whether she is agreeable for sending the matter to the Mediation Centre of this Court or not.
In pursuance of the order of this Court, Smt. Mridnalini Verma (opposite-party no.3) is present. On being asked, she replied in affirmative.
Accordingly, we direct Sri Asit Verma (petitioner no.1) as well as Smt. Mridnalini Verma (opposite-party no.3) to appear before Mediation & Conciliation Centre of this Court on 3rd May, 2012.
Petitioners are further directed to deposit the amount as provided in the order dated 26.4.2012 today itself. Out of the deposited amount, a sum of Rs. 45,000/- shall be given to Smt. Mridnalini Verma (opposite-party no.3) before the Mediation & Conciliation Centre and remaining Rs. 5000/- shall be deposited in the Account of Mediation & Conciliation Centre of this Court.
Accordingly, application stands disposed of in view of aforesaid order.
