Under an order dated 9th June, 2016, the Project Officer, Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. cancelled the allotment of plot bearing no.G-135, Sector D-1 (P) Trance Signature City (Tronica City), Ghaziabad.
A challenge to the order aforesaid is given in the instant petition for writ that was presented on 20th July, 2018. No explanation is given to cause delay of more than 2 years in filing the petition for writ.
From perusal of the order impugned, it also reveals that from last about 9 years despite repeated requests, no steps have been taken by the petitioner to develop and promote the activities as required in the lease concerned and as such the allotment was cancelled.
Having considered all these facts specially looking to the delay and laches on the part of the petitioner, we are not inclined to interfere in the matter by invoking the powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
The writ petition is dismissed.
