The prayer sought for in the Writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to transfer and investigate the case in Cr.No.109 of 2009 on the file of the 6th respondent to any other agency under the supervision of the unbiased officer not below the Rank of Deputy Superintendant of Police and lay the charge sheet before the appropriate Judicial Magistrate Court and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to ensure security of life and property of petitioner and petitioner's family members.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondents.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, if any threat to the security of the petitioner and her family members.
4.In view of the above submissions, this Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner for providing security to the life and limb of the petitioner's family, if any representation is made on that effect.
5.With the above directions, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
